Very nice

I really like this holster, great quality. The 1911 fits snug with light on rail. It's comfortable. The safety locking mechanism is good. Great value for the money if you get the rail system for this. Will not work without rail system

Gun will go in but it definitely won't come out

Yes this holster is supposed to work with the Tactical rail system from the same manufacturer. The only problem is. The "trigger guard" does not work with flashlights. Plain and simple. No matter how much I loosen up the screws on holster. It simply will not release the gun without the flashlight getting caught and hindering the pull of the gun from the holster. I tried six different flashlights. And all six had the exact same issue. If you cut the trigger guard off, I'm sure that this holster will work perfectly. But that defeats the purpose of having one on there.

Holster is good, paddle is terrible

Got this for a 1911 with the Recover CC3 grip and rail system and a light. The pistol, light, and fully loaded is 3 pounds 3 oz. The holster itself is a great design and accommodates the after market grip and the light very well. But the paddle they have to attached to the holster doesn't retain the holster when you draw the pistol if the paddle is inside the pants, gun and holster are both drawn. So I tried to have it "clip" onto just my belt, but the space for a belt is 2" and my daily pants all have a max of 1.5" for a belt. So it's really sloppy outside the pants on just the belt (not to mention it conflicting with belt loops). The paddle itself is also pretty wimpy for a 3 pound pistol, the gun cants well away from my body. I contacted the manufacturer and they don't have any solution other than to recommend a different holster from a different company.

I like it, but test your rail attachments!

I'm using this holster in combination with a 4" Kimber Pro Carry II, the ReCover CC3P rail grips, and a CVLife 1500 lumen rechargeable green laser/light combo with quick release arm. The laser/light has dual-sided paddle switches which are very light & easy to activate.Drawing & holstering is not smooth nor quick, but this holster DOES allow my laser/light unit to slide through—it has to be at just the right angle (you'll figure it out, so holstering isn't a major problem).Interestingly, drawing always manages to hit the activation paddles on my laser/light every time, automatically turning on my laser/light on every draw! This likely only happens with paddle activators, not up/down switches or push buttons. I kind of like this "feature". If you prefer to manually activate so you don't give away your position on each draw, you may want not like this. Weirdly enough, the holster doesn't hit the paddles on holstering, so I still have to manually turn off the laser/light.This holster may or may not work with your attachments, and may interact with them in different ways. I kind of like the happy accident with mine, so I kept it!
