Our most proven long-range riflescope. Its 56mm objective lens provides maximum clarity and resolution across the entire magnification range.

The wide magnification factor of our 5.5-22 series allows precision accuracy at the longest ranges, yet at 5.5 power remains highly effective for shots at close ranges.

Nightforce was the first company committed to perfecting extreme magnification variable power scopes. Our years of experience perfecting long-range optics is evident in every scope we build.

What's not in box UPDATE

Great scope but I detest being lied to. There is NO POWER THROW LEVER OR SIMILAR ANYTHING IN THE BOX. They say it's in the box BUT IT IS NOT. UPDATE this is not just a great scope it is a superior product. Still mad about the throw lever but you can get an aftermarket one. The scope performs its that simple. One person on here said it's heavy and he's right. However this scope was made for the military. It can take a beating. Most important ITS ABSOLUTELY REPEATABLE. Traking is perfect first time EVERYTIME. Unless you have to have MIL. Or you have to have FFP this is the choice you want to make to hit those 1 mile shots.

Nightforce is the best, the scope seems to prove that to me.

Not sure why amazon wants me to rate the thickness and warmth of the scope, but I asure you it is THICC!All jokes aside, I'm a novice to long distance shooting and even buying a nice scope in general. After doing a lot of research I settled on this 5.5-22.Pros:Illumination is amazing-SFP (if you prefer it)-Great packaging-Great warranty-Easy to twist magnification (I hate scopes that require a throw level to realistically change the magnification)-Great reticle for my level of goals (out to 1000 yards)Cons (here is where the lack of a star comes in)-SFP (if you like FFP scopes)-Price-instructions (story below)-heavyAs I mentioned, I'm no Chris Kyle. I recently bought a very expensive long range rifle, and I didn't want to cheap out with the optic. When The scope arrived I was able to open it and set it up quite easily and most of the instructions were quite useful especially for someone who hadn’t done anything of this before. The real problem came to the focus and locking rings. The instructions seemed unclear on which ring was which or if it was a screw or what. I had to YouTube it. I ended up twisting a screw that was not labeled on the instructions and got a large hissing sound. This really scared me and I was very upset that this particular screw had not been labeled on the instructions. I am still not sure if I have done some things to break or hinder the scope in anyway. I assume it had something to do with the purging process. I really feel that the instructions should have labeled this screw and that the instructions in general were more written for novice shooters.

Pretty amazing optic.

I haven’t used it yet but have others. Best reticle in my view. A little heavy but then I don’t think it was designed to carry Around in the field although...put it on a lightweight!!

WOW What can I say.....

Mounted on my Barrett M99 ,, I needed the xtra High rings to clear the rail. Shot at 600 and 800 yards. All I can say is perfect glass, great scope. Love the zero stop.

Amazing rifle scope! Serves its purpose flawlessly, and above and beyond expectations!

I know they say these scopes all come from the same factory, like Vortex, Nightforce, etc. Or a cookie cutter manufacturing process. But the particular scope I have has some of the clearest glass I've ever seen in my life. I had the opportunity to take it to the range with heavy cloud cover and rain. Using the illuminated reticle, I was able to sit there and enjoy my time, while others left in droves. The turrets feel amazing as well.I'm giving this 5 stars, but I do have one gripe, which isn't really Nightforce's fault, but I'm up in Canada, and I had to hunt for over a month just to find the flip up lens caps for this rifle. Apparently they changed the item number, for the eyepiece flip up cap, and confused a lot of people, including themselves... because when I asked at some local shops, nobody could find one. I had to email Nightforce, who told me to order from some abstract place I've never heard of before.
